Traditional versus simplified Chinese

The terms "traditional" and "simplified" refer to two different ways of writing Chinese.

Generally speaking, traditional Chinese is used in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and most areas outside of mainland China.

Simplified Chinese is used throughout mainland China. We can provide translations in either format.

A word about Chinese translations

There are many places in mainland China where you can obtain very inexpensive Chinese translations.

These places are typically staffed by workers who have little more than rudimentary translation skills.

If you want an accurate translation of your materials, you will most likely waste your money at one of those agencies.

Since we use only very highly-trained, professional translators, we cannot compete in price with most translation agencies in mainland China.

But we can definitely compete when it comes to quality.

If price were all that mattered to us, we would use those shops ourselves.
